Abstract:

In this study ,a new bioactive mannich base N-diethyl amino methyl maleic hydrazide has been synthesized via the Mannich reaction of formaldehyde, maleichydrazide and diethylamine. The zinc(II) and cadmium(II) chloro complexes of the mannich base diethyl amino methyl maleic hydrazide have been synthesized. The structural characterization studies ranging from quantitative analysis to various spectral tools confirm the formation of the d10 complexes. Anti-inflammatory study was carried out by using SRBC and HRBC membrane stabilization.
