A convenient four-component synthesis of 6-amino-4-alkyl/aryl-3-methyl-2,4-dihydropyrano[2,3- c]pyrazole-5-carbonitriles.They are widely used for industrial purposes and also exhibit a broad range of antimicrobial activity. They are synthesized by using ethylacetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate, malononitrile, and various aldehydes using Tetra n-butyl ammonium bromide (TBAB) as a catalyst and water as solvent under mild reaction conditions. This method has several advantages such as high yield, mild reaction condition, operational simplicity, easy work-up procedure with environment friendly nature.
An azo dye UAAP and Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II)complexes were synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, mass spectra, UV- Vis, fluorescence spectra, ESR spectrum, IR spectra, NMR spectra, NLO property, molar conductance and magnetic measurements. The spectral and analytical data reveal that UAAP act as both bidentate and tridentate ligand. The molar conductance data reveal that complexes Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) are nonelectrolytic and Mn(II), Ni(II) 1:2 electrolyte in nature. Based on all data structures were proposed for UAAP and complexes. The UAAP and metal complexes were screened for antimicrobial activity, antioxidant study, DNA cleavage analysis and anticancerous investigation.
Natural water contaminants due to weathering of rocks and leaching of soil etc. it necessary that the quality of drinking of water should be checked of regular time interval, because due to use of contaminated drinking water. Human population suffers from varied of water borne disease. The availability of good quality water is an indispensable feature for preventing disease and improving quality of life. it is to know details about different physic-chemical and trace metals such as Temperature, pH, EC, Turbidity, TS, TSS, TDS, TH, Alkalinity, DO, BOD, COD, Chloride, Sulphate, Phosphate, Fluoride, Nitrate, Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Pb used for testing of water quality. The experimental statistical value of mean, SD & %CV of Dissolved Oxygen (DO), was found in TG2 (5.57mg/L), TG2 (0.38mg/L) & TG4 (6.98mg/L) of pre-monsoon season which is above the maximum limit. And in all the sampling station the observed value of Phosphate (PO4 3 ), Zinc(Zn), Manganese (Mn), Lead (Pb) are below detection limit (BDL) of pre-monsoon season.
In the present study, some new substituted 1,3,5 triazine derivatives with 4-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)aniline and 6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-phenyl-2H-1,3-oxazin-2-amine and primary amine were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative strains using a micro dilution procedure. Synthesized compounds P1DH to P15DH prove to be effective with MIC (μg/mL), among them P3DH, P4DH, P5DH, P15DH and P9DH showed excellent activity against a panel of microorganisms. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized using IR, 1H- NMR, 13CNMR, MASS Analysis.
