Abstract:

1-Substituted tetrazoline-5-thiones (LH) interact with their thiol tautomeric form with As (v) forming compounds having formula [AsL5] (LH = 1-Substituted tetrazoline -5- thiones). All compounds were monomeric, non-electrolyte having preferential triangular bipyramidal configuration. The four characteristic thiomide bands of the ligand have been used as diagnostic for arsenic - ligand bonding. The 1H NMR Spectra is carried out and interpreted.
