Some new organometallic complexes of ruthenium (II) have been isolated by the reaction between carbonylchlorohydridotris (triphenyl phosphine) ruthenium (II) and thioacetamide without change in oxidation state of metal. The complexes are characterized using eleumental analysis, physico-chemical, IR, electronic, 1H N M R', and 31PNMR data. The octahedral structure to all complexes are discussed and tentatively assigned.
